On the evening of Saturday 16th November churches and other groups up and down the country will be taking part in the biggest multi-venue nationwide quiz ever, on behalf of Tearfund. CHRISTMAS FAIR SATURDAY 16TH NOVEMBER 10.00AM – 12NOON Thoughts should now be focussing on planning for our annual fair. All organisations and/or individuals are encouraged to participate by taking charge of a stall. Contact will be made soon with all who use our church premises and with others in the community. Help will be needed with the tea room, baking stall, books, produce, decorations, bottle stall, preserves and craft items. Let’s make this year’s fair even better than last year!...
Tickets are now available for our much anticipated annual Curry Night. They can be purchased from any member of the Committee after Sunday Services or by contacting the Church Office. Please intimate any special dietary requirements at time of booking. ALZHEIMER’S RESEARCH UK FUNDRAISING EVENT The family of Elder, Alan McAulay, is fundraising and promoting awareness for Alzheimer’s Research UK with a Ladies Afternoon Tea and Fashion Show, to be held on Saturday 14th September from 12:00 – 18:00. It will be a fun afternoon with host Michelle McManus, and Sass & Wear from The Avenue at Mearns, at the Garment Factory in Montrose Street, Glasgow. SPRING FAIR: Many thanks to all who supported last weekend’s coffee morning. There was a lovely atmosphere in the hall and everyone appreciated the opportunity to catch up with friends for a chat over tea or coffee and home baking! Thanks go to all who donated items for the stalls and the prize draw and who helped on the day. A total of £269.71 was raised which is wonderful! We are now looking forward to arranging the three larger events in October, November and December. Please put the dates in your diary......
Our next Fundraising venture is the Spring Coffee Morning which will take place on Saturday 27th April from 10.00am to 12 noon in the Columba Hall.
