All organisations, members of the congregation and young people are invited to make up teams of four for our first fundraising event of 2018 to be held in the Columba Hall. This is a well-established event in our calendar and there will be several rounds of general knowledge questions on a variety of subjects. Tickets are priced at £5.00 per person and money raised will contribute towards church funds. To those who made items to sell, handed in donations for the various stalls, gave monetary donations, and or browsed the stalls on the day – a huge thank you. There will be another opportunity to pick up your advent calendar bag after this morning’s service. We would like to invite you to put something for our local food bank into this bag, every day, for the first ten days of Advent. Items could include non-perishable foods such as dried pasta, cereals, tinned soup/meat/fish/vegetables/fruit or toiletries such as toothbrush and toothpaste, shampoo, soap, deodorant etc. Please remember that the bags should be brought back to Church on Sunday 10th December.
