Many of our church organisations and community groups who regularly use our halls came together in celebration of the Queens’ Platinum Jubilee. It was an outstanding success and a fantastic achievement for Broom to be able to host the event!

We were delighted to finally be able to get together with our community, without any restrictions. The sunny weather was an added bonus as stallholders set up outside amidst the colourful bunting, whilst performers of all ages entertained everyone in the hall. Afternoon tea was served in the traditional way and was much appreciated by everyone, as it gave the opportunity to meet friends old and new.

There was something for everyone to enjoy, including races for the children, hot dogs, burgers and ice cream and a special tree was planted as a lasting reminder of a truly memorable celebration of the Queen’s 70 years of service.
