Quiz Night Success
What a great evening we had last Friday when our fourth Quiz night was held. It is so pleasing to note that we have been able to build upon the previous successes with this event and as a result 14 teams participated enthusiastically – our highest number yet! After eight varied rounds of questions and a lovely supper we were able to announce the overall winners to great applause, although it was a close run thing!
As well as being a very enjoyable evening we have made a wonderful start to this year’s fundraising by raising a grand total of £440.10! Many thanks to all of the teams who took part, to those who donated prizes, to the supporters who helped and to the committee for their hard work in organising everything. We are now looking forward to the next event which is the Spring Fair to be held on Saturday 22nd April from 10.00am to 12 noon. Watch the bulletin for further details…..
