Sunday Club

Welcome to our Sunday Club. We're now into our Autumn term.

The Sunday Club resumed on 28 August and welcomed back the children after the summer break. Thank you to all those who organised and ran the Summer Sunday Club. The children who attended thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

                                         Sunday Club outing

Over the next few months the Sunday Club will be covering a variety of topics including “telling my friends about Jesus”, “thanks to God”, “sharing”, “What is Communion?”, “following God’s directions”, “trust in God”, “making choices” and “prayer”. Each topic includes a story, activity and a craft.

The children have already made a wall frieze “Tree of Thanks” which is displayed in the Ninian Hall and have decorated stones with pictures and bible verses as their way of telling someone about Jesus. Coming up we will be making communion cups (promises to be messy), sharing jellybeans, making angel delight, planting seeds and making a prayer ribbon.

On 2 October, the Sunday Club will be hosting a lunch in aid of The Children’s Hospice Association of Scotland. This will follow Communion. So please come along, enjoy homemade soup, sandwiches and home-baking whilst supporting a very worthwhile charity.

The Sunday Club has planned a trip to the panto on Saturday 10 December.

We meet on Sundays at 10am in the front pews of the Church. We participate in the Church Service for approximately 15 minutes then go to our Sunday Club in the Ninian Hall.

Do not hesitate to contact the Sunday Club, either via email sunclub@broomchurch.org.uk or phone the Church office (0141 639 3528).

We welcome children from age 3 upwards.

Sunday Club lessons and activities always strive to bring the message of The Bible to the children in a fun way that they can understand and relate to in their own lives.
