NOTICES
A warm welcome to our Family Service.
All are invited to the Coffee Break following the Service.

WEDNESDAY BREAK: Our mid-week Service and Wednesday Break
is growing in number and this is very encouraging. Please do invite
others you feel might wish to come along. The Service lasts no longer
than 30 minutes from start to finish and is followed by tea and coffee. We
meet at 10.30am in the Columba Hall each week. All welcome.

MARY’S MEALS RAGS TO RICHES COLLECTION: Mary’s Meals
will be coming to Broom Church on Sunday 19th March to collect any
unwanted clothes, sheets, towels etc you may have. Those items which
can be recycled will be sold or reused, but fabric of any quality (including
shoes, bags and belts) will be gratefully received. These will help to
provide one good meal, every school day, to over 1.1 million of the
world’s poorest children. Please take this opportunity to have a good
spring clean and bring your unwanted textiles to Church on the morning
of the 19th March. The Mary’s Meals van will be in the church car park
from about 9.30am to 11.30am.

GUILD: The final three meetings for this session are as follows:-
7th March – Holmwood House – an illustrated talk by Mr Iain
McGillivray
14th March – Mrs Shona Cook will give a talk on her volunteer work in
an Orphanage in India with Scottish Love in Action.
21st March – AGM

PASTORAL CARE: To assist in our ongoing pastoral care in the
congregation, parish and community, please do feel free to speak with the
Minister or Elder if you know of anyone who for any reason would benefit
from pastoral support.

HYMNS AND SCRIPTURE READINGS: If anyone requires these in
large print please let the Minister or Church Secretary know and these
will be available each Sunday.

SUNDAY READING ROTA: If anyone would like to be added to the
reading rota for Sunday Services please speak to the Minister. Readings
are printed in large print for ease and are given in advance of the Service.
The congregation enjoys the variety of faces and voices.

BROOM CARD/CRAFT GROUP: The Group meets each Tuesday at
2pm in the Columba Hall. All welcome.

LODGING HOUSE MISSION: Please remember to keep Lodging
House Mission meal vouchers with you to hand to a homeless person
needing a meal. Vouchers cost £1 and are available in the vestibule.

priced at £5.00 per person and money raised will contribute
towards church funds. There will be an interval during the evening
when refreshments will be served as friendly rivalry is suspended.
